Evolution

As I near the end of my time here in Atlanta, I have mixed emotions, there is so much I still haven't gotten to do here, but at the same time I'm excited with the prospect of exploring my hometown. It's funny, I feel as if I'm going to a new city even though I've already been there. I left Cali as a boy and now here I am 10 years later returning a man who has seen the other side of life. I'm really going to miss the friends that I made here, I have made Atlanta my home way faster than I did Boston, although I do miss my peoples up there also. I've already started to compile my list of things to do in Cali, just like I did here. I'm definitely going to miss my cousins Minh, Becky and her husband, my roll dogs Thai and Edward, my boy Jb who made this journey down here with me, and especially my special girl Zhuan, who has always been there for me and helped me find that adventurous side again that was dormant in me, much love goes out to them. I am excited to be going back and seeing all my childhood friends, especially my boy Lai who I grew up with. Just goes to show you life is short and you never know what tomorrow will bring or where the roads in life will lead you, sometimes its far away and sometimes, if your lucky the road will lead you back home.

Once in a lifetime

What a week this was for me, to kick start off the week my boy Thai came by on tuesday and on a whim wanted to go to North Carolina to hang out, so we headed out at 12:00 am and went to a Casino in Cherokee, we was there for a good minute and got back at 9:00 am after my boy broke even. Then this past weekend we decided to head out to the clubs, I wanted to stay home but my younger cousin Becky forced me to go out, haha, I can't say no to her, she's like my little sister. Once we got to the club you know it was VIP treatment all the way, you know how your boy does it. We hit the bar hard and danced the whole night away, it was the first time in a while that everyone was out, I even convinced Zhuna to come out, If I had to go out and didn't want to so did she, haha, I'm gonna miss her, that's my girl. I mean we had everyone dancing even Becky's boy Kevin was getting his groove on which you won't see happen often, now if only I can get him to Harlem Shake or Shoulder Lean, haha. The night ended when we got something to eat, but leave it up to my n*gga Edward to act a fool, he kept going on all night about how he wanted to be "Prince" because Prince gets all the girls, he's even talking about being Prince for halloween. The only thing that the night was missing was my roll dog Thai, but he was in Florida on a solo mission. It's all good, since I'm leaving soon this upcoming weekend is going to be off the chain!

Somethin' Else

Went to a charity event yesterday which Cingular was a sponsor of, the name of the event was "Chopstix for Charity", it was basically a fundraiser to help promote awareness of Asian American Businesses, they had silent auctions, and you know where there's asians there's gambling going on, it was definitely something different from what I'm used to, hell all I know is that it was open bar and free drinks and food, haha. It was hosted inside a hangar that's why you see airplanes in the background, it wasn't that bad, it gave me a chance see how the asian community in atlanta does it. Aftward I went home and was relaxing when my boy Edward called and wanted to go out, I was trying to lay low at home but he came by and kidnapped me haha. We ended up going to Karaoke with his friend and some girls, man that dude is hella funny, you had to of have been there to know what I'm talking bout, this is the same dude that was trying to take his pants off at the club to show some girl his "ANACONDA" because she was trying to clown him, luckily we didn't let that happen, because that would've been bad on both parts.

A Final Hurrah

It was the last asian night at Club Aikos, so you know yours truly had to make an appearance, haha, I came thru sporting the little mohawk, lol. It was a pretty cool night, ran into a lot of people that we knew, the highlight of the night had to be that little korean girl that me and Mike met, I mean damn she had some spunk in her. She pretty much tore thru the entire crew with the exception of me and Mike, I mean her insults weren't just jabs but more like haymakers. It was all good though, kinda of enjoyed exchanging quips with her, weird huh?! I guess any girl with balls the size of her, is good in my book. It was a pretty good way to send Aiko off, my boy Thai even made a late entrance before the club closed, even though he had to check into boot camp the following morning, ya gotta love that n*gga.

Compound

Went to compound this past saturday and it was packed, arrived late but still got in for free with the VIP passes. Just trying to prepare for my trip back, I'm really gonna miss the friends that I made here but hey, in life not every one you meet stays in your life forever, everyone has to travel down their own roads. I'm trying to sort out what I'll bring and leave, hopefully it'll be sooner than later, but in my life drama seems to be a constant. Murphy's law is in full effect! Aint that a b*tch. Well if there weren't any problems in life, than life would be boring.
