Thanks For Giving

It's been a while since my last post, just been trying to readjust to this California lifestyle, so far it's been good to be back home. I feel happy to be back in my hometown, and it seems to have reinvigorate me with a new zeal that I'm hoping to parlay into success. This past wednesday I went to the Lawrence Hall of Science, located in Berkeley right on top of the UC campus, this was a place that I visited as a kid so I had always wanted to go back, this time though instead of going with my 4th grade class I went with my friend, his daughter and her cousins, it was kinda of funny because it still felt like a field trip with all those kids, haha. It was cool to visit a place I hadn't been to in 16 years, and this time around I didn't have any pesky teachers to watch me, haha.
Today was Thanksgiving, I spent most of the day with my family, we all haven't been under the same roof in 10 years, so I thought that it was great to finally have the whole family together again, with the addition of my niece and nephew, they are great kids and the next generation, kinda weird to think of it like that. Afterwards I went to my second families house, I'm referring to the childhood friends that I've known for 14 years, it was really nice to see all of us together again also, but this time it was more of a family event since a lot of my friends have kids now. Everyone was getting their punches in, since they haven't seen me in a while and I look different now, some said that I look like a nerd now, haha, I guess that suites me. So basically I went from house to house, freeloading on thanksgiving goodies, haha, what can I say I'm greedy.

~You can always go home~
